Korres is a brand who I believe are extremely under the radar. They are a thoughtful, safe, effective brand who pride themselves on their potent ingredients and skincare technology. They focus on 4 areas:
Precious extracts - where they use cold extraction processes, recycle all forms of the plant, and utilitse precious botanicals native to Greece.
Advanced research - where they test the same way pharmaceuticals would test to ensure product safety and efficacy. They also ensure the product has natural ingredients.
Thoughtful formulas - including tests for dermatologists, opthomologists and excluding preservatives by using anti-microbial ingredients
Passion - whether it's for research, ingredients, environment and skin.

When I was NY, the air was a lot dryer and although it looked a lot clearer than countries, like China or Vietnam, there was a certain weight to it. Maybe I'm just used to the crisp air of Sydney. It was through this trip, that I noticed the difference between my skin and the skin of local New Yorkers. (P.S. I know this is a sort of generalisation but there are also numerous cases that support this fact).

Tatcha is a beauty brand greatly inspired by the Japanese skincare routine of the Geisha woman. It's rituals and products are based on the ingredients and methods Geisha would use throughout the ages. Usually, such rituals would be passed on through word of mouth, but there was a record of it written down. This ancient beauty book is the cornerstone of Tatcha's philosophy and why you'll find all the products are simple, multi purpose, and gentle to the skin. Let's face it, we all want perfect Geisha skin.
