Product Reviews

\\Here are some of the products I've personally tried and tested. Keep in mind that everyone's skin is different and so what I might like may not work on the next person, the same goes for what I don't like. So I guess just take my opinion as what it is, an opinion.\\

Caudalie | Beauty Elixr

Encapsulated in a beautiful glass bottle, this spray claims to enhance the skin, smooth away fine lines, tighten pores, set makeup and, give a boost of radiance. So that's what a beauty elixr is… It’s a great way for them to put all these features under one multipurpose name...

Mecca Cosmetica | Lit From Within Mask

Masking is great way to amp up the good ol' skincare routine without making your skin go 'hey what's going on around here'. There are many masks out there and I have had my fair share of all types. Cotton, hydrogel, peel-off, mud masks and so on. Through the years I have accumulated a certain bias toward Asian masks...

Bare_cleansers

Bare Minerals | Oil Obsessed & Clay Chameleon

The BM oil cleanser is definitely one that gets everything off. I'm talking about that waterproof mascara that manages to still linger when you wake up in the morning - that is GONE. Like any other oil-based cleanser, the removal of the makeup is probably the most fun. This is because you almost look like the joker before emulsifying the cleanser...

Bare Minerals | Skinlongevity & Butter Drench

In this review I talk about the ever popular Skinlongevity serum/essence and the Butter Drench moisturiser both of which I will be repurchasing (and that does not happen very often). I really enjoyed these 2 products mainly because I loved how they gave me such an instant, youthful glow! They're definitely a wonderful pair when it comes to maintaining skin and you'll find out the great ingredients that make it so...

Drunk Elephant | C-Firma, B-Hydra & Luxury Marula Oil

Wow, this seriously blew my mind. I did not want to follow the hype bandwagon but here I am. I was fortunate to try this over the course of 2 weeks. In 2 weeks you really shouldn't see much of a difference…boy was I wrong. I had some stubborn scars on my cheeks from picking - gone.

Drunk Elephant | TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum

runk Elephant really set the bar for giving the customers what they actually need and disregarding the noise of the beauty industry. They don’t care if an ingredient is natural or synthetic, as long as it is clean, safe and effective. D.E. also like to focus on pH levels and percentages of actives that are at clinical levels, ensuring the skin isn't irritated.

Glam Glow | PowerMud DualCleanse Mask

I don't know why people haven't talked about this product more. I'm sure everyone has read about the Supermud and Youthmud GlamGlow masks but for some reason Powermud is a little underrated (at least in Australia it is). Hope you guys enjoy the review anyway!

KSExfolikate

Kate Somerville | Exfolikate

I'm going to be honest, I have not tried many exfoliators. I didn't think much of them before, only that they made my skin really smooth afterwards (still a bonus). But I never found one that was a holy grail. Which leads me to my review on Kate Someville's Exfolikate. Boy was I in for a ride, this exfoliator is such a joy to have and I have seen it work on countless skin types and skin issues...

Korres | Advanced Sleeping Facial

Korres is a brand who I believe are extremely under the radar. They are a thoughtful, safe, effective brand who pride themselves on their potent ingredients and skincare technology.

origins.jpg

Origins | Original Skin Essence

How have I not talked about Origins? It is legit one of my go-to brands when it comes to masking. They are super natural, with a few essential oils tossed in the mix, and really enhance the whole experience of putting on your skin care. This product, in particular, has been a go-to ever since I got it.

Perricone MD | Hyalo Plasma

This is a long awaited review. By long-awaited I mean I've been 'trialing' this product for a whole year. I got introduced to this product when I heard about the benefits of hyaluronic acid. A super power, water-binding, ingredient that has a weird ability of penetrating into the skin layers despite its large molecular weight. Due to my dry skin I thought it was a perfect ingredient and hunted down some of the best products to see what all the hype was about. Then I stumbled upon Perricone...

Tatcha Oil Review 1 .jpg

Tatcha | Camellia Cleansing Oil + Gentle Enzyme Powder

Anxiously anticipating their long-awaited arrival, I, like many Aussie skincare junkies, made a mental list of the first products to test and try. Tatcha is a beauty brand greatly inspired by the Japanese skincare routine of the Geisha woman. It's rituals and products are based on the ingredients and methods
